I loved photographing Olivia again. I first got to take photos of this sweet little girl with curly hair when she was 6 months old, and I had the priviledge of taking family photos back in April. You can see those here. The beautiful location for these photos was Herman's Farm and Orchard. The owners were nice enough to let us hang out a little after close to finish up our photos. May have had something to do with how unbelievably cute this girl is!

According to Jayden, this is her best friend.  So sweet.

Admittedly, things were easier once the dogs weren't involved!

JJ is 2 | Hazelwood, MO

This is my third time photographing JJ and it is not getting any easier! He is all boy and wore out Mom, Dad, Grandma and me during his photo session. Grandpa knew not to even bother. I hope they love action shots!



I love when families want in on some photos - so before we all got sweaty chasing JJ around, Mom and Dad joined in for family portraits.



Every mom I photograph is worried about how she will look in the finished photos. I am the same way - cringing every time someone tags me on facebook hoping I won't have to beg them to take it down. But there is something about a photograph of a mom and her "baby" that makes every mommy look their most beautiful to me.

Nolan | 18 months {Collinsville, IL child photographer}

Oh, Nolan.  Full of giggles and energy, he gave his mom and me all kinds of trouble trying to get him to spend at least a few seconds being still.  As soon as the playground was in view at the park, he was going to get to it!  Lucky for us, only the back of him got covered in mud when he made a mad dash for the creek. 

A mix of mischevious and sweet here, befitting his personality.

The light was lovely by the end of the session, still I think this one makes a great black and white. Which do you prefer?

These clients make my job easy. Not only are they an adorable family, but they bring along grandma as a photographer's assistant for me! I was fortunate to take Olivia's photos at 6 months and 1 year, and I was thrilled the whole family decided to join in her 18 month portraits. It was a challenge avoiding the crowds and traffic along Main Street and totally worth it to capture this gorgeous family!
